Beyond Wonderland Chicago is the Midwest arm of Insomniac's Alice-themed series, and for 2027 it moves to Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois, about 35 to 45 miles from central Chicago. The official page calls the new chapter Beyond Wonderland Midwest and describes a much larger site: hundreds of acres, more stages, and music until 2 AM. The main festival runs three days, Friday June 11 through Sunday June 13, 2027, with a Thursday June 10 camping check-in and a free Thursday pre-party for campers. Camping is the frame for the weekend rather than an add-on: car and RV passes cover four nights, and campers get the pre-party and nightly silent discos. The sound is the familiar Beyond spread, though the 2027 lineup was not announced at the time of writing, so the exact booking is unknown. Expect a young, 18-plus crowd, a cashless site, and no re-entry unless you hold a camping pass. The trade-offs are the move itself and the location: the speedway is a large asphalt facility outside the city, so a car, a shuttle or a rideshare is needed, and the official page says shuttles, rideshare lots and public-transit details are still coming.
