Wakaan Music Festival runs on Mulberry Mountain, a resort in the Arkansas Ozarks near Ozark. The 2026 edition ran Thursday October 1 to Saturday October 3, with a pre-party on Wednesday September 30 for early-arrival pass holders. Music runs from early afternoon to just past sunrise each day, and the festival says it takes place rain or shine. It is strictly 18-plus. The camping is the core of the weekend. Primitive and shade camping sit alongside upgraded RV and tent sites and glamping, and only the upgraded and glamping sites have electric hookups. Gas generators are not allowed in camping except inside RVs. Water fill stations sit at the main stage area and across the camping areas, and upgraded sites have shower and restroom access. The rules are strict and worth reading before you go. Wristbands must stay on the whole time, and any tampering means no entry. Counterfeit tickets are refused at the gate with no refund. Every sale is final, with no refunds and no exchanges. Items that get confiscated include fire props, drones, glass, laser pointers, pets, large speakers and sound systems. The festival says EMTs and medics are on site around the clock, and it recommends bringing a personal first-aid kit.
