Our editorial read

Insomniac's East Coast edition in downtown Orlando: three days on the grass at Tinker Field, five stages, carnival rides, and a 1 PM-to-midnight schedule.

The full editorial

Orlando is the friendlier version of EDC. It sits on the grass at Tinker Field, next to Camping World Stadium, about two miles from downtown, and the Orlando skyline rises behind the main stage. Doors open at 1 PM and everything ends at midnight, so you are not walking out at sunrise. Five stages cover a wide range: Kinetic Field for big-room and festival house, Circuit Grounds for bass and heavier sets, Neon Garden for techno and house, Stereo Bloom for house through bass and trance, and Casa Bacardi for a smaller party inside the party. Recent lineups mix arena names like David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Hardwell, and Kaskade with bass acts such as Excision and Wooli and techno from Charlotte de Witte and I Hate Models. Fridays are warm and sticky; November evenings cool off, but rain is a real risk. In 2025 a Sunday downpour shrank the usable area and the walkways between Kinetic Field and Stereo Bloom jammed badly enough that some attendees described a crush. Insomniac said no one was injured and points to the Camping World Stadium renovation widening paths. Logistics are the weak point. General parking is extremely limited, Premier Parking sold out, and the area around the gates bottlenecks at peak entry. Take the shuttle or stay along I-Drive and ride in. It is worth it if you want a full day of music, a city you can walk into afterward, and a lineup that runs deeper than the poster.

  • Bass and house fans who want both on one bill
  • People who would rather walk to downtown than drive to a speedway

  • Around 100,000 people a day on a tight footprint; paths jam at peak transitions.
  • Rain and mud are recurring problems at a grassy Florida venue.
