No launch date or pattern is recorded yet.
Checked the official ticket page on 2026-10-03: it offers only a waitlist for GA 3-Day passes, and the public GA waitlist reopened September 8, 2026 with VIP to follow; no public on-sale date is announced. The 2027 limited run went on sale May 20, 2026 and is no longer available, and Ultra's drops have moved between limited runs and waitlists, so no expected window is recorded.

The read
Our editorial read
Miami's three-day March festival in Bayfront Park: seven stages from big-room sets to RESISTANCE house and techno. Ultra reported 165,000 attendances across the 2025 weekend.
The full editorial
Ultra is the big American dance festival that happens in a city park. Bayfront Park sits on Biscayne Bay in downtown Miami, so the stages look out at water on one side and towers on the other. Seven stages run from Friday afternoon to Sunday night: the Main Stage for big-room names, Worldwide for bass and drum & bass, the two RESISTANCE rooms for house and techno, plus Live, UMF Radio and Oasis. Gates are 4pm to midnight Friday, noon to midnight Saturday and noon to 10pm Sunday, and the crowd is international, with a lot of South American and European travelers. The production is the selling point: pyro, LEDs, and rare back-to-back sets you will not catch elsewhere. The trade-offs are size and cost. Tickets are expensive, single-day passes are not sold, and Ultra reported 165,000 attendances across the three days in 2025, not a daily or unique-person count. Miami in late March is hot, and storms can stop the music: in 2024 the whole first day was shut down by severe weather. It is also a city festival, so you sleep in a hotel and use the free Metromover, not a campsite. Come for the scale and the one-off pairings, and treat the surrounding Miami Music Week parties as half the trip.
Go if
- People who want the biggest names and the highest production in US dance music
- Groups building a Miami Music Week around the festival
- First-timers who want an urban festival with hotels and transit nearby
Skip if
- You prefer small, cheap or camping festivals
- Crowds, heat and phone-forward main stages wear you out
- You are under 18; Ultra is an 18+ event
Inside the festival
A big-production festival in a downtown park: seven stages, skyline and bay views, and a crowd treating the weekend as the centerpiece of Miami Music Week.
International: Miami locals, spring-break groups, South American and European travelers, and dedicated bass and techno fans on their own stages.

Worth it for / the catch
Worth it for
- Production and one-off back-to-back sets that rarely appear elsewhere
- Seven stages cover big-room, bass, house, techno, trance and hardstyle
- Downtown location with hotels, free Metromover and Miami Music Week around it
- International crowd and an easy trip from MIA
The catch
- Expensive tickets and no single-day passes
- Heat and long walks between stages in a city park
- No camping and few quiet places to sit
- Late-March storms can delay or shut down a day
